World Missions Focus

Below are the different aspects of our World Missions support. This year we are raising the bar to reach a financial goal of at least $170 per week.

Financial Support

Projects

Other - sponsor Roger F's Bicycle tour – raise funds for Sri Lanka Children.

Short Term Missions Trips

Send pastor to Vanuatu (in role as a Field Facilitator for CRC, and to teach) in April and August. $2000
Send team to Vanuatu (team raising own funds) August.
Total Specified Goal for World Missions: $8500 per year
($170 per week)

Samaritan's Purse

Every year we fill shoe-boxes with gifts and send them through Samaritan's Purse to children in need around the world. If you want to be involved, you can pick up a box from NLCC in the months leading up to Christmas. To read more visit: Samaritan's Purse.

Roger's Cycle Tour

From April 20, 2011 to May 18, 2011 Roger participated in a 3,000km Cycle Across Oz cycling tour between Broome and Perth to raise money for Sri Lankan Children’s Homes (see below). It is still not too late to donate towards this great cause with 100% funds going towards the homes.

Sri Lankan Children’s Homes

CRC Churches International has three Children’s Homes housing more than 40 children presently. The Homes are of a high standard, Gov. accredited, and provide all the necessities of life in a loving and protective environment. The children are in care because their families are unable to provide for them. Many have lost parents or family members during the war which has now ended.
